Bowling Opens up Season at Warrior Classic

FLINT, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling team opened their season at the Warrior Classic at the Richfield Bowl Center in Flint. The men's team took fourth place out of 13, while the women's team claimed 11th. 

 

In the men's competition, Nate Roberts was the top competitor for the Wolverines as he took home 16th place after bowling a stellar 236 in his third game and helping his total improve to 816 on the day. Steven Strzalkowski was consistent on the day, rolling a 200, 201, and 203 in his first three games and helping him take home a top 20 finish with a 794 total. Jaylen Watson rolled a four-game total of 743 in his debut, while Joseph DeVita rolled a 229 in his second game to round out the Wolverine performances. 

 

Katrina McKay and Jasmine Carroll finished inside the top 30 as they finished with a 652 and a 641, respectively. Madison Shelton finished just outside the top 30 as she rolled a 169 in her third game to help improve her total to 615 over four games. Jessica Ludwick finished three spots behind her with a four-game total of 591.
