Wolverines Dominate, Tondryk Buries 13 in 3-0 Victory Over Lourdes

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (9-9, 5-4) volleyball team needed a bounce-back victory after losing in straight sets on Wednesday night. The Wolverines got that bounce-back victory as they flourished on Saturday (Sept. 30) against the Lourdes University Grey Wolves (2-13, 2-8). The Wolverines hit .394 as a team on the way to a 3-0 victory at The Fieldhouse.

 

Kielee Tondryk led the Wolverines as she blasted 13 kills in 24 swings. Tondryk added three block assists to lead the match with 14.5 points. Sydney Eggleton was the only other Wolverine with double-digit kills. The Southfield native tallied 11 kills in 21 swings (.429). Marisa Fetterley had her best performance of the year as she buried nine kills in 14 swings. 

 

Kenzie Mertz continued her dominating stretch, registering 24 digs in the three-set match. Regan Rose handed out 36 assists while also adding three kills. Rose tallied five digs and a block to round out her strong afternoon.
