Wolverines Fall Against Cardinals 81-68

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-5, 0-3) men's basketball team lost a road contest against the Concordia University Cardinals (3-3, 2-2) on Wednesday (Nov. 29). Concordia won the contest 81-68. 

Three Wolverines scored in double figures as Joshua Warren led the Wolverines with 17 points on 7-of-19 shooting. Warren dished out six assists and hauled in four rebounds to conclude his night. Troy Campbell scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half, while Jackson Reynolds rounded out the Wolverines in double figures with 14 and seven rebounds. Jimmy Breaux and Thomas Dillard IV both shot 50% from the floor and tallied double-digit rebounds. Dillard IV had a game-high 12 rebounds, while Breaux finished with 10.  

Both teams shot above 40% from the field and made 27 field goals. However, the Cardinals made two extra triples and 11 more free throws to create the 13-point deficit. Concordia tallied 17 points off turnovers, while UM-Dearborn tallied 12. Despite the double-digit loss, there were 12 lead changes in the contest. 

The Wolverines will take on Madonna on Saturday at the Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 3 pm.
