Warriors Storm Back and Reverse Sweep Wolverines

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (10-14, 6-9) volleyball team fell against the Rochester Warriors (4-21, 1-13) on Friday (Oct. 20). The Warriors came storming back after being down 2-0 and reverse swept the Wolverines. 

 

Regan Rose recorded a double-double for the Wolverines, tallying 42 assists and 23 digs. Rose added a solo block and three assisted blocks on her strong night. Kenzie Mertz led the match with 28 digs with just one reception error. 

 

As a team, the Wolverines had a kill percentage of .137. Still, the Wolverines struggled with the Warriors at the service line as they committed 11 reception errors and gave away numerous free balls after being unable to connect on an attack. Sydney Eggleton led the match in kills with 16, while Kielee Tondryk recorded 11 kills on 34 swings. Emily Buck had a nice day at the net with a season-high eight kills.
