Wolverines Fall Against Taylor in Second Annual 15 For Life Game

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan- Dearborn men's lacrosse team took on Taylor University on Wednesday (Apr.19) for their 15 For Life game.

 

The Trojans struck first, scoring two goals in the first quarter to take the 2-0 lead. However, the Wolverines were able to strike back, scoring two goals in the quarter, the first by Mark Bendig and the second by Brodie Mahmud

 

The Wolverines continued the pressure into the second quarter, with Parker Steindl scoring two, along with one by Braxton Kern to give UM-Dearborn the 5-2 lead. Taylor University tallied two more before the end of the quarter, ending the first half with the Wolverines up 5-4. 

 

There was an even third quarter, with only one goal scored by the Trojans to tie the game at five. 

 

Taylor University came out strong against the Wolverines in the fourth quarter, taking control of the game and scoring six goals unassisted to walk away with the 11-5 win over the Wolverines.
