DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (3-7-4, 2-4-3) men's soccer team welcomed the Indiana Tech Warriors (7-3-5, 6-0-3) to Crestwood High School on Saturday (Oct. 21). The Warriors entered the contest unbeaten in WHAC play. Still, the Wolverines were looking to spoil the Warrior's run of success.

The Warriors would show their talent in the opening minutes of the game as the Warriors winger swung a ball on frame and saw it just pass the outstretched arms of Jack Rogers, who watched the ball off the right post and into the back of the net.

UM-Dearborn would continue to push the Warriors, outshooting them 12-7 in the remaining 85 minutes of the contest. The Wolverines were honoring their five seniors, and the Wolverines seemed to have a different energy to them in the second half. UM-Dearborn outshot the Warriors 9-5 in the second half and were the better team in the contest.

The Wolverine's persistence resulted in the Warriors giving away a penalty in the 88th minute. The Wolverines chose Andrew Schwartz to take the PK, and his first attempt was denied, but the Linesman ruled that the Warriror goalkeeper was off of his line and awarded a retry. Schwartz collected himself and retook the chance, this time beating the goalkeeper to his left.

The final three minutes would expire and both teams would share points on the afternoon.
