Wolverines Extend Winning Streak, Defeat Missouri Valley College 13-6

BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (3-2) raced out to an early lead first on Wednesday (Mar. 8) against Missouri Valley College (1-4). The Wolverines attack was dialed in during the first-half as seven different Wolverines scored in the first 30 minutes.

 

Quest Bigelow took a Liam Carney pass early in the quarter and put one in the back of the net in the first quarter to start the scoring onslaught. The Wolverines secured the win with seven more goals in the first half, with Mason Loudermilk scoring three in the half.

 

After Missouri Valley tied the game at one a piece, UM-Dearborn scored five unanswered goals throughout the first and second quarters. Loudermilk, Parker Steindl, James Blaize, Joseph Atherall, and Ryan Savage all bagged a goal. 

 

The team took 50 shots overall, scoring 13 from eight different players.

 

Will Atherall scored two in the second half, and Carney led the team in assists, with two for the game, one in each half.
