Wolverines Route Blue Devils 7-0

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-0-0) women's ice hockey team shutout the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (ACHA D2) 7-0 on Friday (Oct. 6). Kenna Borso got the start in goal for the Wolverines and recorded her first win and shutout in the 7-0 victory. 

 

Cadence Pero received player of the game honors as she netted a pair of goals and finished +3 on the game. Andi Evers led the team in points as she scored a pair of goals and added an assist. Evers two goals gives her the team lead with four goals through two games. Madison Schroeder buried two goals, while Sydney Gillen added a goal. 

 

Samantha Sensoli showed off her passing as she tallied three assists. Ashley Savage, Riley Vandenheuvel, Paige Finlay, Zoe Zaifman and Kaylee Keledjian all tallied assists. 

 

Borso (1-0-0) stopped all seven shots she faced in her collegiate debut.
