DeVita, Roberts, and Ludwick All Place in Top-5 at SHU Halo Classic

ADRIAN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams participated in the SHU Halo Classic on Friday (Nov. 10). Three Wolverines finished inside the top five during the event. The men's team took home second, while the women's team took fifth. 

In the men's competition, Joseph DeVita and Nathan Roberts took second and third, respectively. DeVita had highs of 267 and 258 in his first and fourth games to help him finish with a six-game average of 225.3. Nathan Roberts exploded in his first game, rolling a 277. Roberts rolled a 235 in his final game to move into third. Roberts finished with 1,310 total, good for an average of 218.3 in his six games. 

Zachary Baum took 25th with a total of 966 in five games. Stephen Strzalkowski and Kejuan Matthews rounded out the men's competitors in 34th and 37th. 

Jessica Ludwick had a strong afternoon in the women's competition, taking home fourth after rolling a six-game average of 190. Ludwick had her best game of the afternoon when she rolled a 247 in her second game. Madison Shelton finished just outside of the top-10 as she took home 12th with a six-game total of 173.67. Katrina McKay collected 29th, while Kayla Winston rounded out the Wolverine competitors with a 37th-place finish.
