Wolverines Handle Gray Wolves in Straight Sets

SYLVANIA, Ohio – Off the back of one of their biggest wins of the season, the University of Michigan-Dearborn (12-15, 8-10) volleyball team looked to start a winning streak as they traveled across the border to face off against the Lourdes Gray Wolves (3-20, 3-15). UM-Dearborn put together one of their most efficient days on the floor, handling the Gray Wolves in straight sets 3-0. 

 

As a team, the Wolverines put together a strong night, bolstering a kill percentage of .321. Two Wolverines tallied double-digit kills as Kielee Tondryk and Brooke Wetherill put down 11 and 10 kills, respectively. 

 

In the second set, The Wolverines put down 15 kills in just 22 attacks, good for a kill percentage of .591. 

 

The Wolverines tooled a nice block, tallying 12 block assists and one solo block. Regan Rose dished out 27 assists with four aces, while Kenzie Mertz ended her night with 15 digs to lead the match.
