The University of Michigan-Dearborn Player of the Week is men’s basketball senior guard Cody Kegley, it was announced Wednesday.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team is coming off a successful week that saw them win all three games. The Wolverines earned a hard-fought victory against Holy Cross College (RV) on the road last Tuesday in Notre Dame, Ind., winning by a score of 71-68.

UM-Dearborn traveled to the Caribbean coming away with two wins over the University of the Virgin Islands in back to back nights by the scores of 76-60 and 76-67, keeping the Wolverine record perfect at 4-0.

Kegley played an important role against Holy Cross College by scoring all 15 of his points in the second half, making several key baskets down the stretch and two free throws in the closing seconds.

Against UVI, he led UM-Dearborn with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting while making four 3-pointers on Friday night and followed it up with a team-leading 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting while adding six rebounds, six assists, and four steals on Saturday night.
