The University of Michigan-Dearborn Player of the Week is men’s ice hockey forward Justin Dunn, it was announced Wednesday.
The Wolverines played the Cleary University Cougars twice this past week and skated away with two wins by the scores of 4-0 and 11-2.
Senior Justin Dunn played a big a role in both wins for the Wolverines registering a goal and two assists in the first game against the Cougars last Thursday night in Hartland, Mich.
In the second game on Saturday, Dunn doubled his point total, finding the back of the net twice and adding four assists.
The Trenton, Mich., native is in his fourth year with the men’s ice hockey program and was named team captain prior to the start of the 2019-20 season. Dunn is currently second on the team in scoring with eight goals and 17 assists.
The Wolverines return to WHAC play against Rochester University at 7 pm Friday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
