The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball player Troy Campbell was awarded Player of the Week, the school announced on Friday (Jan. 19). 

With 6.4 seconds remaining, Campbell went 94 feet and banked in a contested layup to give the Wolverines their first conference win in a 70-68 victory over the Cleary Cougars on Wednesday (Jan. 17). Campbell scored 10 points but none more significant than the one at the horn. 

Campbell and the Wolverines return on Saturday (Jan. 20) to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolves; tip-off is set for 3 pm.
