Dunn's 9-point weekend earns weekly award

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey offense exploded for 22 goals in two games over the weekend in a sweep of Rochester University, as Justin Dunn earned a weekly conference award for his scoring efforts.

Dunn became the first Wolverine this season to win the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor, it was announced Monday.

Dunn scored four goals and added two assists in the win over the Warriors on Friday at home while adding three assists in a second victory of the weekend on Saturday.

The Trenton, Mich., native leads the team in points this season with 34, including 12 goals and a team-high 22 assists.

The No. 4 Wolverines have the week off to prepare for a showdown against No. 1 Adrian College starting at 7 pm Thursday, Dec. 5 in Adrian, Mich.
