Davis claims first WHAC weekly honor

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team swept Cleary University over the weekend, while freshman forward Anthony Davis earned his first career Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference weekly award, it was announced Monday.

Davis was named the WHAC Offensive Player of the Week with five goals, including four in the opener, to go along with two assists for seven points in a sweep of the Cougars.

In his first season with the Wolverines, Davis has 19 goals and 12 assists, ranking fifth on the team in total points.

The Wolverines close the 2019-20 regular season with a WHAC series against Rochester University starting at 7 pm Friday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
