Brock named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

DEARBORN, Mich. – University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey forward Billy Brock led the Wolverine offense that put up 27 goals in two games in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference sweep of Concordia University over the weekend.

Brock recorded an impressive eight-point night with four goals and four assists in a 13-1 victory at home for the No. 5 Wolverines on Friday. He added another goal and two assists the following night in a 14-0 win.

For his efforts, Brock has been named the WHAC Men's Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.

The Woodhaven, Mich. native has scored seven goals and registered 21 assists in13 games this season as the Wolverines prepare to play four games against ranked opponents in four days starting on Friday.

The Wolverines return to action as they host a weekend series against No. 6 Indiana Tech at 7 pm Friday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
