Wolverines fall to Warriors on Senior Night

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team fell to Indiana Tech (RV) in the regular-season home finale on Senior Night Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

The Warriors led by one at the break, but took control and built a double-digit lead early in the second half to top the Wolverines 83-67. The loss drops UM-Dearborn 17-12 overall and 10-9 in the WHAC with one game remaining in the regular season.

In a ceremony prior to the game, the Wolverines honored the careers of seniors Jared Jackson, Cody Kegley and Donovan Farrell.

Jason Gigliotti led the Wolverines with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Elwood Tomlinson added 16 points, three 3-pointers, and four assists. Reid Sellers added 11 points and five rebounds.

In potentially his final game at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse, Kegley finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists. He moved into seventh place on the UM-Dearborn all-time scoring list, passing Chris Shepard (2003-07). Kegley has 1,269 career points.

UM-Dearborn shot 24-of-51 from the field, 5-of-19 from deep and 14-of-20 at the line.

Indiana Tech was led by 22 points and 11 rebounds from Mitch Morken. The win secured the regular season WHAC championship for the Warriors.

UM-Dearborn closes the regular season against No. 19 Madonna University at 3 pm Saturday in Livonia, Mich.
