Wolverines ranked 21st, highest in program history

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team has put together a tremendous first half of the 2019-20 season, earning a spot in the latest NAIA rankings, it was announced Wednesday.

The Wolverines jumped to No. 21 in the NAIA Division II Top-25 Coaches' Poll after a win over then No. 14 Cornerstone University on the road on Saturday.

The ranking is the highest in program history and first for the team since Dec. 12, 2017, when the Wolverines were ranked 23rd.

UM-Dearborn is 10-3 overall this season and 4-1 in the WHAC with three games remaining on the schedule before the New Year. The Wolverines travel to Lawrence Tech for a WHAC contest at 3 pm Saturday in Southfield, Mich.
