Brock picks up second straight WHAC honor

DEARBORN, Mich. – For the second consecutive week, sophomore Billy Brock has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Brock led the No. 2 Wolverines to a sixth straight victory, as UM-Dearborn rolled over No. 23 University of Utah 12-0 Saturday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.

Brock netted two goals in the win, to go along with four assists. He leads the team with eight goals and 17 assists, totaling 25 points. He was plus-7 in his ice time on Saturday. The Woodhaven, Mich., native has put up a point in all but one game this season and has six goals over his last two outings.

The Wolverines are off this week as they prepare for a two-game series against No. 13 Stony Brook University starting Saturday, Nov. 17 in Stony Brook, N.Y.
