DEARBORN, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team is set to host a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament Championship first round game at 7 pm Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
The Wolverines (RV) enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 seed Rochester College (18-12, 12-8 WHAC). The Wolverines and Warriors split a pair of close games during the regular season with each team winning on its home court.
The event is a NO PASS LIST EVENT. The UM-Dearborn Department of Athletics will provide FREE admission to the first 100 UM-Dearborn students.
Admission to the game is $7 for adults, $5 for students (age 8 through college senior), and $5 for seniors age 60 and over. Children under the age of 8 are free.
The game will be the first home WHAC Tournament Championship contest for the Wolverines since the team joined the conference. UM-Dearborn closed the regular season with a record of 24-6 overall and 15-5 in the WHAC with a win over Aquinas College on Saturday.
