Heslop earns WHAC DPOW honors

DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference named University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey's Trevor Heslop as WHAC Defensive Player of the Week. The league announced on Monday (Jan. 20th).

The Wolverines traveled west to take on Aquinas College, looking to complete the weekend series sweep of the Saints.

Heslop made his 2024-25 season debut, allowing just one goal while making 35 saves. His efforts helped UM-Dearborn secure a 5-1 win and the series sweep.

Heslop and the Wolverines return to action against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils at 7pm Friday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
