BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's lacrosse team pushed to recover from an early deficit with a comeback in the fourth quarter against No. 10 University of Saint Mary Tuesday at the Detroit Country Day Fieldhouse.

Trailing 13-4, the Wolverines scored five straight goals in a 4:21 stretch at the end of the third and the start of the fourth, but the Spires held on to top UM-Dearborn 15-9. The loss drops the Wolverines to 3-3 this season.

Matthew Rosteck (SR/Commerce Township, Mich.) scored twice early to help UM-Dearborn jump out to a 2-1 lead in the first quarter. UM-Dearborn's effort late in the game started with 18 seconds left in the third quarter and included four different goal scorers.

Adam Ranck (FR/West Bloomfield, Mich.) led the offense with three goals and an assist, while Rosteck finished with two goals and an assist. Devon Callaghan (JR/Bloomfield Hills, Mich.)'s two goals gives him a team-leading 18 on the season. Micah Rinke (SO/Plymouth, Mich.) added a goal and an assist. Liam Turner (SO/Ann Arbor, Mich.) made nine saves in goal for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines outshot Saint Mary 38-34 and won the faceoff battle 17-11. The teams were an even 32-32 in groundballs.

The Wolverines prepare to play their fourth of five straight home games when they host No. 9 SCAD Savannah at 9 pm Thursday, March 21 at the Detroit Country Day Fieldhouse.
