WHAC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME SET FOR MONDAY AT THE FIELDHOUSE

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team will host Rochester College in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Game at 7:30 pm Monday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

The Wolverines advanced to the final with a 90-89 overtime win over No. 1 Cornerstone University on Saturday. No. 4 seed UM-Dearborn will take on No. 6 seed Rochester College, which upset second seeded Indiana Tech 84-68 on Saturday.

UM-Dearborn swept Rochester in two games this season.

The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 20-12 overall, tying the program record for wins in a season set in 2016-17. The winner of the championship game will earn the second WHAC automatic bid to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Postseason Tournament March 7-13 in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Cornerstone earned the first WHAC automatic bid by winning the regular season championship.

The UM-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation will sponsor 100 tickets for students. The first 100 UM-Dearborn students will receive free admission.

Ticket prices for the game are $7 for adults and $5 for students (after the first 100) and seniors (over the age of 60). Kids 8 and under are free. The game will have NO PASS LISTS with the exception of those holding NAIA Membership Cards.
