WOLVERINES TO HOST MADONNA IN WHAC FIRST ROUND

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team will host Madonna University in the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament at 7:30 pm Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

The playoff game is the first hosted by UM-Dearborn since joining the WHAC.

The Wolverines and Crusaders split the season series, with each team winning on its home floor. UM-Dearborn captured a 67-63 win over Madonna on Feb. 10 at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

UM-Dearborn enters the game with a record of 18-12 overall and 13-7 in the WHAC. The Wolverines are the No. 4 seed in the tournament after finishing the WHAC season tied with Aquinas College for third place. The Saints earned the No. 3 seed after sweeping the Wolverines this season.

The UM-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation will sponsor 100 tickets for students. The first 100 UM-Dearborn students will receive free admission.

Ticket prices for the game are $7 for adults and $5 for students (after the first 100) and seniors (over the age of 60). Kids 8 and under are free. The game will have NO PASS LISTS with the exception of those holding NAIA Membership Cards.
