Maguire named to ACHA All-Athletic First Team

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team recently completed an outstanding first season, going 19-2-0 (21-2-0 including forfeits) in 2019-20.

The team was led by the outstanding play of junior forward Claudia Maguire, who was named to the ACHA Women's DII All-Athletic First Team, it was announced Friday.

Maguire is the first Wolverine to be named to the women's ice hockey All-Athletic Team after leading UM-Dearborn with 65 points this season. The Ann Arbor, Mich., native closed the season with 40 goals and 25 assists in 21 games. She had eight total hat tricks, including six in the final eight games.

The Wolverines closed the season as the No. 5 team in the ACHA DII West Region.
