No. 4 UM-Dearborn tops CUAA 11-2 on Senior Day
 

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team defeated Concordia University on Senior Day on Saturday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.

The Wolverines scored six in the first period and cruised to an 11-2 win to move to 17-2-0 overall this season. During the first intermission, the Wolverines honored their lone senior, Alexis Panizolli, with a Senior Day ceremony.

Odisoula Argyris got the Wolverine scoring started, finishing with a career-high four goals and her second hat trick of the season, adding one assist. UM-Dearborn leading scorer Claudia Maguire recorded her seventh hat trick of the season and fifth in six games, finishing with three goals and two assists.

Clare Murphy, Alexandria Robinson, Kaylee Keledjian and Lexi Garbacik each added a goal, while Piper Keranen and Robinson each finished with two assists.

UM-Dearborn outshot CUAA 76-16, as Tara Peladeau made 14 saves in net for the Wolverines.

UM-Dearborn's series scheduled for Feb. 21-22 against Miami University-Ohio has been canceled due to roster limitations for the RedHawks. Updates to the UM-Dearborn schedule will be announced when available.
