No. 2 Wolverines net a dozen in win at CUAA

CHELSEA, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team completed a sweep of Concordia University in the second of a home-and-home series Saturday at the Arctic Coliseum in Chelsea, Mich.

The No. 2 Wolverines scored four in each period, recording a dozen goals for a second straight game in a 12-1 win. The victory pushes UM-Dearborn to 15-2-0 overall this season.

Odisoula Argyris netted her third multi-goal game of the season and her first career hat trick with three goals and two assists.

Kaylee Keledjian finished with two goals and three assists, while Brooke Spiegel added two goals and two assists. UM-Dearborn leading scorer Claudia Maguire chipped in with two goals and an assist, stretching her point streak to seven games.

Piper Keranen and Madison Ryszewski each recorded their first career goal, while Kim Primeau finished with a goal and a team-high four assists.

Tara Peladeau made 16 saves in net for the Wolverines in the win.

UM-Dearborn travels to Miami-Ohio at 11:15 am Friday at the Goggin Ice Center in Oxford, Ohio.
