CHELSEA, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (4-2-1, 1-3-0) women's ice hockey team looked to get revenge after dropping the previous night's matchup against Concordia (MI) (3-4-0, 2-4-0). The Wolverines would prevail, winning 4-1 on the road. 

Both teams would score in the first period on a pair of power-play goals. Vivian Kowalske scored the Dearborn goal as Cadence Pero found her open, and the duo linked up to tie the game after Concordia had scored earlier in the period. 

Head Coach Kenneth McMullen made critical adjustments after surrendering 19 first-period shots. Those adjustments proved vital as the Wolverines only allowed 17 shots for the remainder of the game.  

With the defense in check, the Wolverines were aggressive on the forecheck, which paid dividends in the second period. The Wolverine special teams scored again when Samantha Sensoli scored her sixth goal of the season on assists from Madison Schroeder and Andi Evers. However, Dearborn wasn't finished as Kowalske scored her second goal of the game just 1:37 later when teammates Mali Sise and Alex Fosse found Kowalske to give UM-D a 3-1 lead heading into the final period. 

The Wolverine top line would get their second point when Evers and Sensoli linked up with Schroeder for the team's fourth and final goal. 

Victoria Hahn (1-3-0) was locked in on Saturday (Oct. 22) as she would make 35 saves and help the Wolverines to a 4-1 victory.
