DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (9-5-1) women's ice hockey team utilized seven different goal scorers en route to an 8-2 win over Rhode Island (1-9-1) on Saturday (Dec. 10) inside the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.

Samantha Sensoli got the scoring effort started as she skated down the right wing and rocketed a shot through the five-hole of the Ram netminder for the game's first goal. Andi Evers provided the lone assist on the goal. Six minutes later, on the power play, Kaylee Keledjian scored an unassisted goal to extend the Dearborn lead. Alex Fosse closed out a strong period for the Maize & Blue scoring the third goal just five minutes before the intermission.

Sensoli would continue the Wolverine onslaught as she scored her second goal of the game less than 90 seconds into the second period. Madison Schroeder dished out a beautiful assist from the left wing across the ice to the stick of Sensoli, who beat the Rams goaltender for the 4-0 lead. Lexi Garbacik would add her name to the scoresheet as she redirected an Erin Murphy shot from the blue line and snuck it past the goaltender. The Rams would score two goals in the final minutes of the second period, but Schroeder would sneak one in between as she scored at the 16:09 mark thanks to assists from Isabella Welke and Sensoli.

Hannah Martin tallied her first two points of the season as she scored and assisted on a goal in the third period resulting in the 8-2 final.
