ADRIAN, Mich.- The University of Michigan-Dearborn (9-8-1) women's ice hockey team traveled to Adrian to take on the Adrian Bulldogs in the first game of the series at Arrington Ice Arena on Thursday (Jan.19).
The Bulldogs capitalized on a penalty kill, scoring a short-handed goal in the first period to make the game 1-0. With continued pressure, the Bulldogs scored two more goals in the first period, ending with the Wolverines down 3-0.
The Wolverines fought hard in the second and third periods, but their efforts fell short as the Bulldogs scored three more goals, ending the game with a 6-0 loss for the Wolverines.
Goaltender Victoria Hahn faced 55 shots letting six in.
