Wolverines hang tough in first half, Gray Wolves pull away in the second

SYLVANIA, Ohio.— The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team returned to action against the Lourdes University Gray Wolves Saturday afternoon in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup in Sylvania, Ohio.

The Wolverines would keep things close in the first half, finding themselves down four at the break. However, the Gray Wolves would use a big second half, shooting over 40 percent from the field and behind the arch, on their way to a 77-52 win over UM-Dearborn. 

The loss drops the Wolverines to 3-23 overall and 1-15 in the WHAC.

Troy Campbell and Jimmy Breaux led the way for UM-Dearborn, both hitting double-digits with 10 points and 12 points, respectively. Leading the Blue Devils was the trio of Charles Swain, Brett Lauf, and Joey Holifield with all three players recording 13 points in the game. 

The Wolverines return to action against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils at 7:30 PM at the Don Ridler Fieldhouse in Southfield, Mich.
