Wolverines overpowered by Saint Francis (IN)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team returned to action Wednesday night against the No. 24 ranked Saint Francis (IN) Cougars in a non-conference match-up. 

The Wolverines had trouble with a Cougar offense that used a late run to take a comfortable lead into the break. Saint Francis (IN) would stay hot in the second half on its way to a 117-58 win over UM-Dearborn.

The loss drops the Wolverines to 0-2 on the season. 

UM-Dearborn was led by Jimmy Breaux and Elwood Tomlinson, both scoring 12 points, while Andre Floyd would add 10 points and five rebounds of his own. Leading the Cougars was Antwann Cushingberry with 30 points and eight assists and Dan McKeeman with 24 points.

The Wolverines return to action against the Indiana-East Red Wolves at 7pm Tuesday, November 2nd in Richmond, Ind.
