Three Wolverines Earn All-Conference Accolades

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team had three members on the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams. Sydney Eggleton, Regan Sliwinski, and Brooke Wetherill all received recognition. The league announced on Thursday (Nov. 10). 

 

Sydney Eggleton received First-Team All-Conference accolades after leading the Wolverines in kills, kill per set, points, and points per set. The Southfield, Mich. native was the only Wolverine to receive first-team recognition. 

 

Regan Sliwinski received Second-Team All-Conference honors for the second season in a row. The Grosse Pointe, Mich. native, tallied 232 kills, a team-high .275 kill percentage, and was second on the team with 113 blocks. 

 

Brooke Wetherill was the final all-conference recipient as she earned Second-Team All-Conference accolades. Wetherill leads the nation in blocks with 156 and is fourth in the nation in blocks per set. In addition, Wetherill was third on the team with 241 kills and second in kill percentage (.184). 

 

Emily Buck was Dearborns Champions of Character recipient, while Allie Federlein, Amanda Wilyard, Wetherill, Delaney Smith, Kayla Podlewski, Kenzie Mertz, Regan Rose, and Sliwinski were named to the All-Academic Team.
