SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (14-16, 10-9) volleyball team took the first two sets against Lawrence Tech (12-19, 5-14) on Wednesday (Nov. 2) but could not put away the Blue Devils in a five-set loss inside Don Ridler Field House.

Sydney Eggleton and Regan Sliwinski each had 15 points, with Sliwinksi recording six blocks. Brooke Wetherill and Kielee Tondryk recorded 12.5 and 12 points to round out the Wolverines in double digits. Regan Rose led the contest with 48 dimes, while Kenzie Mertz led with 23 digs.

Dearborn took the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-17, and seemed to be in complete control of the match. However, LTU would not be denied as they clawed back from an 18-15 deficit in the third set and closed the set on a 10-1 run.

LTU flipped the momentum to their favor and would dominate the fourth set 25-14 before claiming the penultimate set 15-12.
