Wetherill Wins WHAC Defender of the Week
Brooke Wetherill leads the nation in blocks with 105 earning her WHAC Defender of the Week.
DEARBORN, Mich. – Brooke Wetherill was selected as WHAC Defender of the Week for her performance during the week of September 19. The Junior middle blocker was the first player to eclipse 100 blocks and currently leads the nation with 105 blocks. Wetherill's 12-block performance against Madonna was a career-high, and through 18 games, the Peoria, Ill. native has already surpassed her previous season's total.
Wetherill and the Wolverine volleyball team continue WHAC play when they host Aquinas on Wednesday (Sept 28) at 7 pm at Henry Ford College.
