ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (13-13, 9-6) volleyball team hit the road to take on the Rochester Warriors (3-23, 1-13) on Friday (Oct. 21). Sydney Eggleton smashed 25 kills and let the contest in points in the four-set victory at Garth Pleasant Arena.

Eggleton put down 25 kills on 52 attempts (.346) and added 12 digs on another special day. Kielee Tondryk hit the half-century mark, surpassing 500 kills during the match. Tondryk had 10 kills on the night and added a block. Brooke Wetherill continued her dominance in the Wolverine block as she had 10 kills and added four blocks to her total. Kenzie Mertz was phenomenal as the Wolverine Libero as she amassed 34 digs in a season-high. Regan Rose had a season-high of her own as she eclipsed 50 assists for the second time this season and broke her previous high of 50 as she had 52 assists on the night.

The Wolverines took a big lead in the first set as they led 22-13 before the Warriors went on a mini-run as the Maize & Blue eventually put them away 25-20. However, Dearborn swung .385 as a team in the second set as they would replicate the first set, winning 25-20 and taking a 2-0 lead.

The Warriors would give the Wolverines some trouble in the third set as they would down UM-D 25-19. Dearborn would bounce back in the fourth and final set, flipping the score and seeing just one lead change in the final set.
