DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (9-10, 5-3) volleyball team came into Wednesday's (Sept 28) match on a four-game win streak and winners of six of their last seven. Unfortunately, that streak ended at Henry Ford College when the Aquinas Saints (6-14, 2-4) took down the Maize & Blue 3-1 (15-25, 22-25, 25-17,17-25).
Brooke Wetherill and Regan Sliwinski both led the Wolverines with 11.5 points. Wetherill led the Wolverines with 10 kills, while Sliwinski added nine of her own. Kielee Tondryk and Sydney Eggleton added nine and eight kills to the Wolverine total. Regan Rose tallied 31 assists and 15 digs in Wednesday's loss.
The Saints took advantage of Wolverine errors swinging above .200 in all but one set. The Wolverine block was working again, tallying eight total blocks on the night.
