Sliwinski Stars in 3-1 Win Over CUAA

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – On the back of 22.5 points from Regan Sliwinski, The University of Michigan-Dearborn (7-9, 3-2) volleyball team earned their third conference win in a 3-1 victory over Concordia (MI) (5-10, 1-4). Sliwinski had 15 kills to go along with five aces and 2.5 blocks. 

 

The Wolverines controlled most of the first set, but the Cardinals wouldn't be denied as they finished on a 6-1 run and won the first set 25-21. However, the Wolverines weathered the early storm and won the following three sets, 25-23, 25-15, and 25-18. The four-set victory was the Maize & Blue's third in WHAC play and first conference road win. 

 

Brooke Wetherill tied for second in overall points with 13 as she buried nine kills and four blocks. Sydney Eggleton and Kielee Tondryk chipped in 10 kills, while Regan Rose added 40 assists and 10 digs. The Wolverine Libero Kenzie Mertz totaled 17 kills on the night, with Amanda Wilyard adding 14 of her own.
