DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team is just over five weeks away from the start of the 2019 season, the sixth under head coach Eric Stark.

The Wolverines open the 2019 campaign with a road contest at Spring Arbor University Wednesday, August 21 in Spring Arbor, Mich., just two days before the start of the annual UM-Dearborn Early Bird Challenge at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

The Early Bird Challenge runs from August 23-24 and includes 12 teams, with the Wolverines facing Point Park University, Bluefield College, Goshen College, and Cincinnati Christian University.

UM-Dearborn heads south the following weekend for four games at the Milligan Mountain Madness event August 30-31 in Johnson City, Tenn.

The 2019 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference season opens against Lawrence Tech at 7 pm Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse. UM-Dearborn closes the 2019 regular season with four consecutive home games, concluding with Senior Day against Rochester College at 1 pm on Saturday, Nov. 9.
