Wolverine Offense Sputters in Second-Half, Blue Devils Top Wolverines 65-50

DETROIT, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (6-14, 3-9) women's basketball team struggled in the second-half against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (8-11, 5-6) on Wednesday (Jan. 18) at the Matthaei Center at Wayne State University. The Blue Devils toppled the Wolverines 65-50. 

 

UM-Dearborn Leaders

Siena Smith and India Grissom finished tied for a game-high 14 points. Smith shot 6-15 from the field and connected on 2-of-7 from the three-point line. Grissom finished 5-15 from the field. Lily Miller rounded out the scoring with 10 points and six rebounds. 

 

Lawrence Tech Leaders

Kendall Fisher led the Blue Devils with 14 points and 11 rebounds on 4-14 shooting and 5-8 from the charity stripe. Olivia Siedlecki was the only other Blue Devil in double-digits with 12 points on 6-14 shooting. The Blue Devils outrebounded the Wolverines 52-34.

The Wolverines travel to Ann Arbor on Saturday (Jan.21) to take on Concordia (MI) at 1 pm at Cardinal Fieldhouse.
