Grissom Nets 18 in Home Defeat

DETROIT, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-8, 1-3) women's basketball team dropped a conference matchup against Rochester (7-4, 5-0) inside the Matthaei Center. India Grissom had a strong night for the Wolverines, pouring in a game-high 18 points on Wednesday (Nov. 30). The Warriors took the contest 91-65. 

 

UM-Dearborn Leaders

Grissom shot 6-of-15 from the field and connected on 3-of-6 three-point attempts to lead the Maize & Blue. Siena Smith and Lily Miller both 13 points to round out the scoring for the Wolverines. Brooklyn Taylor led the Wolverines with seven rebounds.

 

Rochester Leaders

Elysia Mattos led the Warriors with 13 points. Imari Martin and Lauren Wynn chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively. Wynn and ChiAnn Gloster led the Warriors with six rebounds. The Warriors shot 42.1% from behind the arc (8-19) and 47.9 from the field (35-73). 

 

Up Next

The Wolverines welcome Indiana Tech on Saturday (Dec. 3). Tip-off is set for noon inside the Matthaei Center.
