Fullerton Leads Wolverines with 19, Siena Heights Prevails 96-63

ADRIAN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (4-13, 1-8) women's basketball team took on Siena Heights (13-3, 6-2) inside the SHU Fieldhouse on Wednesday (Jan. 4). The Saints controlled the game defeating Dearborn 96-63 in a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Matchup. 

 

UM-Dearborn Leaders

Abby Fullerton led the Wolverines with 19 points on 5-of-14 shooting. Fullerton was 6-of-8 from the charity stripe in the loss. Siena Smith recorded a double-double pouring in 18 points and 10 rebounds. Smith connected on six of her 15 field goal attempts and added two steals. India Grissom was the only other Wolverine in double digits as she chipped in 12 points on 50% shooting from the field. 

 

Siena Heights Leaders

Kayla Hinton led all scorers with 27 points for the Saints. Hinton was 8-of-11 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line to pace Siena Heights. Hinton added six rebounds, a pair of assists, and four steals to her final line. Peyton Banks added 22 points as she was 8-of-12 from the field and a perfect 5-5 from the free-throw line. Sha'kyla Parker chipped in 10 points on 8-of-18 shooting, while Olivia DeLong rounded out the Saints in double figures with 11 points.
