DEARBORN, Mich. -- Freshman blueliner Declan Flanagan earned WHAC Weekly Honors for the second time this season as the Kanata, Ontario native received WHAC Defensive Player of the Week. The league announced on Monday (Jan. 22).
The Wolverines went 2-2 on the week, losing to No. 2 Adrian and sweeping Cleary in a WHAC matchup. Flanagan tallied four assists in the Friday contest in an 8-5 victory over the Cougars. In Saturday's finale, Flanagan scored the deciding goal in a 4-3 win.
Flanagan is second amongst defensemen in scoring in the WHAC with 32 points, tallying nine goals and 23 assists.
