DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (7-5, 6-1) men's ice hockey team had a convincing win over Rochester (Mich.) (1-8-0, 0-7-0) on Friday (Nov. 4) at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena. The Wolverines had a commanding victory winning 15-1.
The Wolverines scored six goals in the first and second periods, with nine individuals registering a goal on the scoresheet. Five different Wolverines registered three points or more, with Brendan West leading the way with seven points. In addition, Patrick Karn recorded his first collegiate goal and point after slotting home the puck after a scrum in front of the net. In total, the Wolverines put 61 total shots on the net.
Chance DeSana, Dakota Potter, Colin Garner, Joey Cullinan, Mikhail Khudenko, Vinny Sensoli, Bailey Byrd, Danny Fletcher, and Blake Petterle all recorded goals.
Tanner Beals (4-1-0) recorded his fourth win, stopping 17 of 18 shots in the victory.
