DEARBORN, Mich. -- University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyballs Kenzie Mertz (Macomb, Mich. / Dakota High School) earned WHAC Defender of the Week for the second time this season. The league announced on Monday (Sept. 16). 

Mertz averaged 5.82 digs/set and was dominant in serve/receive, as she had just one reception error in 48 chances. Mertz currently sits second in the conference in digs/set (4.64) and is fourth in total digs (218). 

The Wolverines are back in action on Friday (Sept. 20) against Indiana Tech. The first serve is set for 7 pm.
