Dearborn, MI - The men's basketball used a balanced scoring attack Wednesday night in defeating the visiting Northwestern Ohio Racers 70-59. A three-pointer by freshman Alex Hagel and sophomore Jason's Penn late basket gave the Wolverines a five lead at halftime.

Baskets were exchanged in the second half as Michigan-Dearborn maintained the lead, but Northwestern Ohio was able to tie the game up at 57 with just over six minutes remaining in the game. The game would not remain tied for long as sophomore Ali Farhat sank a three-pointer gave the Wolverines a three point lead which they would not relinquish.
