Goshen Defeats Men's Basketball

Goshen, IN - The men's basketball team suffered its second loss of the season on Saturday falling to Goshen College 78-58. Michigan-Dearborn (3-2) struggled shooting the ball as the Wolverines shot 37% for the game and went just 3 for 17 from behind the three-point arc. Defensively, Michigan-Dearborn allowed Goshen to shoot 51% for the game. The Wolverines hit the glass hard outrebounding Goshen 44-33 but Goshen's ability to get to the free throw line and make free throws proved too much. Goshen made 15 free throw attempts, which is as many as Michigan-Dearborn attempted.

Junior Marcus Williams led the Wolverines with 25 points while sophomore Jason Penn added 12 points. The men's basketball team will open up WHAC play Monday at home when the Marygrove College Mustangs visit for a 7:30pm game.
