Men's Basketball Falls to Lourdes

Sylvania, OH - The men's basketball team lost a road game Tuesday night to Lourdes University 69-63. Michigan-Dearborn (4-5, 1-3) fought hard in the first half shooting just 32% but was able to get to the free throw line which allowed them to have a 29-27 lead at halftime. Lourdes (4-3, 1-3) did not make a three point basket in the first half and attempted just eight free throws in the half.

Michigan-Dearborn shot the ball better in the second half shooting just 36% where Lourdes shot 44% and was able to make 12 free throws in the second half. The Wolverines got hot behind the three point arc going 5 for 11 in the second half, but was ice cold inside the three point arc. In the second half, Michigan-Dearborn went 4 for 14 from inside the three point line. Freshman Xavier Crofford led the Wolverines with 17 points while junior Marcus Williams had 15 points and 9 rebounds. The men's basketball team will next play Wednesday, December 2nd, at Northwestern Ohio at 7:30pm.
