Wolverines honor four on Senior Day

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup for its last home game of the 2018 season.

At the conclusion of the match, the Wolverines honored four senior student-athletes, including Caitlyn Carlson, Erin Parrinello, Katherine Nealy and Jayci Forster.

The Racers defeated the Wolverines in three sets to drop UM-Dearborn to 5-20 overall and 2-14 in the WHAC, heading into a four-game road trip to close out the regular season. The set scores were 25-17, 25-12, 25-21.

Leading the way offensively was Nealy, who recorded seven kills and a .417 hitting percentage in her last home game as a member of the Wolverines. Freshmen Mackenzie Fuleky and Mackenzie Zook each added six kills. Fuleky also added three block assists on defense.

Carlson capped off her last home game with 13 digs to lead the Wolverines.

The Wolverines return to action at 7 pm Wednesday, Oct. 24, against Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Mich.
