GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team began its last week of the 2018 regular-season in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup against Aquinas College on Wednesday.
The Saints defeated UM-Dearborn in three sets, dropping the Wolverines to 5-23 overall and 2-17 in the WHAC heading into the last game of the season. The set scores were 25-5, 25-14, 25-11.
The Wolverines finished with 20 kills, as Gina Giacomini led with five. Nearing the end of her career at UM-Dearborn, Katherine Nealy added three block assists to lead UM-Dearborn.
The Wolverines will close out the season on the road as they travel to Rochester College to take on the Warriors in a WHAC matchup at 1 pm Saturday in Rochester Hills, Mich.
